Several Options for Your Teachers to Achieve Licensure

  • Licensure Only: Students can choose from five licensure-only programs depending on their goals and current credentials and earn their initial teaching licensure. Students who already have a license can add special education.
  • Master’s degree with licensure: For students who are seeking a master’s degree, Purdue offers tracks with initial licensure or additional licensure with mild and intense focus. Depending on their path, students will have to complete a practicum and/or student teaching field experience for licensure.
